In keeping with MRDC’s mission of working to eliminate poverty and help those affected by poverty, the staff of MRDC is made up of people who are dedicated to belief in the ability of Community Action to offer a hand up to those in poverty so they can lift themselves to self-sufficiency. As proof of the effectiveness of this, and as a testament to the work that Community Action accomplishes, a great many of MRDC’s staff members have come from our programs or similar ones. Currently, there are at least two members of our senior staff who were either children or parents of children in the Head Start program.
